NYFW x LFW

New York and London Fashion Week  are some of the most iconic times in the fashion industry.

Every year the runways and designers creations are basked upon by those in attendance of the show or even those like me who's mouth gapes open from behind computer screens.

Anyway since these two are over I've had time to delve through them and pick my favorite three shows and my favorite looks from all of them.

Dolce & Gabbana

Micheal Kors

Here are my favorites from LDN:

J.W. Anderson

Tom Ford

Well these are my favorites from Fashion Weeks! Did you have any faves? Leave them in the comments below.

Love you guys!

Kinda Wannabe Sophisticated ¿?

Hey guys!

So I wanted to show you this little outfit from a few weeks ago. I took the pictures and never got to posting them which is absolutely horrible but here we are now! So all is forgiven, right? Right.

Shirt/Dress: H&M
Skirt: Thrifted
Shoes: Charlotte Russe
Belt: Forever21
Watch: Aeropostale
Earrings: Sand Dollar
So I really like this outfit when I put it together. My shirt is actually a skater dress that I got from H&M back in February which I thought would be a little something different than my other blouses that I have so I paired it with this black pencil skirt with lace embellishment on the trim. My shoes... you all know these as my go-to shoes from Charlotte Russe that I purchased in April I believe. My accessories were pretty simple ranging from the black and gold bow belt from Forever 21 which I got on the same shopping trip when I bought the dress. My watch is from Aeropostale and I never really go into Aeropostale, but one of my friends work there and they held a giant launch party called 'Aero Now' just symbolizing the change in the brand so when I went I picked that up (as well as the shirt here.)  Lastly, my earrings are from a local boutique who sells every piece of jewelry for a dollar. Yes, you read it right one dollar. I am in love with the store and all of their pieces.

Alright dolls! Well that is it my friends for this post! I hope you enjoyed!

OOTD: thrifty shoes and rhinestone tops {September 4th 2014}

Hi there friends!

I never call you guys friends, thats different.

Anyway I wanted to share a little outfit of the day for you guys from last week.

Shirt: Old Navy
Shorts: Forever 21
Shoes: Thrifted
Hair Bow: Stole a tie from my Dad

I really liked this outfit you guys. It was simple, mainly cream and white yet the shirt had the little rhinestone flowers which I adored. My trademark black scalloped shorts that I'm going to hate giving up during the fall and winter months always seem to make an appearance in my outfit of the days. These sandals I actually picked up from one of the local thrift stores here in town and I absolutely had to have them... so they got bought. My hair bow was actually just me wanting to wear my hair out rather than a bun which I wear all too much. So instead of wearing it without anything else I begged my dad to to let me borrow one of his ties and after aforementioned begging he gave me this one which I was thankful for.

So yes! That is all, just wanted to share this little outfit with you guys.

Until next time!

Looks of the Week

Okay! So I decided to do this little post here about some of my favorite looks this week!

I'll probably make this a mini series and do this every few weeks! :)

So here are my favorite looks of the week from celebrities and public figures:

From top left to bottom right: Danielle Peazer, Kim Kardashian-West, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Kim Kardashian-West

Now lets start off Danielle, you all know I love Danielle from my post that I did on her back April. She claimed this gorgeous yet simple blue dress from Candies on her Instagram and I died. You all know I am simply in love with her and she paired with a plain black pair of Christian Louboutins (which I'm also in love with) setting her up for a simple yet elegant look.

Next we have Mrs. Kim Kardashian-West (that took a long time to type, it must be horrible to sign things) in her all pale pink ensemble that is to die for. Her skirt is to die for. I'm absolutely in love with this look from Kim. Here lately her fashion has been on point and I am loving it.

Miss Leigh-Anne Pinnock posted this picture on her Instagram in a nice white two piece suit and the lace bralet that everyone and their mom has been wearing in black from Topshop but she had it in white which was a nice suprise. Anyway it thought it was really classy, while still modern and young. You guys know I love Leigh-Anne from this post I did on her. If not you should really go check that out.

Look who is here again. It's Mrs. West once again stunting in her Kardashian Kollection line at Lipsy London and Tom Ford booties. I mean wow. I honestly wish I could just walk in her closet and take everything because everything she steps out in is absolutely gorgeous, stylish, just everything.

Alright guys! So that was Looks of the Week! I hope you all enjoyed!

Everyone Loves a Good Party, Right? Dressy Edition

Hello hello my lovely readers so I told you that I would do a more formal/dressy party set. So here it is! I thought all of these would be nice for a dressy event, wedding, or something of the sort.

Everyone Loves a Good Party, Right? Dressy Edition

So this first outfit is probably my favorite out of all four. Blue and turquoise are in my favorite colors so when you see a lot of blue or turquoise thats why. Anyway this dress although dressy I think is still very whimsical which I love. The palm trees make it a little less serious and are really on trend at the moment. The clutch and the pumps add to the dressiness and sophistication.

This outfit I actually made about 8 months ago but I added to this set because I thought it could very well go into this category. I love a good crop top, okay? This one isn't very causal in all actuality so pairing it with a black high-waisted pencil skirt is still appropriate for a formal event! The blue clutch pulls out the blue thats in the neckline of the crop top and of course a classic black heel.

Now this black and white dress I really liked because the top kind of put me in the mind of a sports jersey. I don't know why, I'm weird okay? Back to the point that paired with the lace scalloped bottom I think is very sophisticated. Then I added a red pump to go with the "Classic Black, White, and Red" theme I saw forming.

Now this is actually my second favorite (almost my favorite) because the color like I mentioned. I really liked the fact that it was made of lace which can be a little uptight if worn a certain way but it was a really playful turquoise color which I think made it very youthful. I sound so old saying that, gracious.

So you guys, I hope you enjoyed it!
