2015, Nice to Meet You

2014 is basically over.

Its ridiculous.

This year has been amazing yet of course has had its ups and downs. As they all do.

I am also being one of those cliche girls who says they're going to get fit and healthier.

I am I admit it!

My friend and I are stepping into the Paleo Diet deal. I'm so nervous, I'm not even going to lie. It honestly is a quest to be healthier and maintain a better lifestyle.

Fashion Enthusiasn has -of course- been one of the ups of my year. I finally found something that I love doing. Its almost like a diary but about fashion. Sometimes I honestly feel like I bug my friends talking about clothes and fashion. Well only my really close ones, some of my other ones go along with it.  I really want to throw myself into the blog more and do more OOTDs and things like that.

AND ACTUALLY DO A HAUL.

That is a serious goal of mine. In the spring, I said I was going to get to doing one and I still haven't and the year has ended.

It will happen in 2015, I promise.

Anyways guys! This will be posted at 11:59.

I love you guys so much!

Bye to you and 2014!

Shopping Local is Fun: Half United

Half United.

Kynnedy, get to the point already, is probably what you're thinking but I'm getting there.

HU is company based out of my hometown (I love being able to say that) who's adorable and giving slogan immediately pulled me in:

Fashion that Feeds.

Half United makes and distributes jewelry, clothing, and bags in order to fight hunger around the world. HALF of the proceeds go directly to fighting the epidemic.

Founders and siblings, Carmin and Christian Black started the company in 2010 and have provided over 115 thousand meals to those around the world.

Their signature is a recycled bullet casing symbolizes the "fight against hunger."

And over the holiday season, from November 30th to December 25th, HU has provided an amazing total of 7,186 meals!

As you can see this small, family business is doing amazing things all over the world.

Now I myself don't own any HU merchandise (insert me crying) yet in writing about them hopefully they will be able to provide some meals because of you all reading this.

These are some of my favorite HU pieces:

The Kenny

The Jude in Silver and Black Leather

The Meg Cuff Bracelet in Ocean Blue

HU Classic Logo V-Neck

Giving Back is the New Black (Collab with Jawbreaking)

The Jaymes

Black Triangle Tote

I hope I have inticed to you give back and feel a little philanthropic! Go check out Half United! I'll leave all their links below:

Blogger Envy

THIS IS A SERIOUS THING.

Sorry that may have been a bit rude, not actually trying to be though.

Blogger Envy.

You know, I personally see bloggers sometimes and I know they're adults and they do this full time and have had a growing wardrobe for years, I myself have really only taken an interest in buying my own clothes, style, and fashion within the last four to five years. I understand that everything they do is probably...

Not probably, 99% of the time is...

More professional so to speak.

That I am 100% okay with, though other times I'll see and fall in love with blogs and their authors only to come to find out we're the same age or they're only one to two years my senior.

That makes me want to dig a hole and can also be kind of discouraging if I'm honest.

I feel like their blogs can flourish and have amazing audiences, yet I don't feel as if my does.

Don't get me wrong I feel as if there are some of you who do read most posts; I just don't know of those who do :(

Now please don't throw ya girl a pity party because, I really do love doing this.

I just seems like in my mind, I want to do really fun and amazing things with this. Its something that I truly love.

Like when adults come up to you and ask the most awkward break the ice questions? Age, grade, etc. When they ask what I like to do I honestly have something to tell them now.

Thats all for today guys!

Love you,

Milestones: 12 December 2014

The year is winding down and a day that I feel is kind of important has passed.

November 27th.

That day in 2013, I acquired my learners permit to drive.

You probably though it would be something more dramatic and gut-wrenching but no. In my state, you have to have had your limited learners permit for a total of a year, driven and logged at least 60 hours, and be sixteen to be able to get my drivers license.

All of these requirements I meet yet, guess who doesn't have her license yet.

Me.

I understand the fact that car insurance is so expensive, its almost ungodly.

Yet, in order to pay for that I need a job.

But guess who doesn't want me to get one?

My mom.

She thinks I'll be growing up to fast and that I don't need a job. In order for me to get a car... I need a job. Both of these things are big milestones in the life of a teenager and although getting a job may not be the most glamorous part of coming of age I feel like its going to happen at sometime. Why not now?

It kinda makes me feel like I can't grow up, now don't get me wrong I know there are full grown adults who don't have their license or a car but if I'm in the position to I feel like I should be able to. I could help my parents out actually, picking up my brother and sister, grocery stores, and all that other good stuff.

I don't know, what do you think?

November Favorites

Here we go!

Monthly Favorites!
November Favorites

November Favorites

Firstly we have over the knee boots. I want some of these so bad and they are extremely on trend at the moment. They would be so good for the weather here in NC thats starting to get really get cold. They'd be perfect with leggings, jeans, a shift dress, practically anything. I really want a pair and I actually saw some at Belks a few weeks ago and I think I may go pick up a few.

Call me basic, I don't care but that doesn't make me want a Polaroid camera any less than I already do. I honestly wish when I took more pictures on my cell phone I could print them out. With this type of camera I can. What if Instagram crashes and I lose all my pictures? Not that I really want that but it could happen realistically and I love my pictures. I feel like having a Polaroid is like a little keepsake that I can hold in my hand. I want one. I do quite badly.

1989. Is. Genius. Now like seemingly everyone else in the world believes so too but I'm just going to come right out and say it. I love this album some of my favorite tracks are Welcome to New York and Blank Space. Taylor has such a way with words that make everyone fall in love with her music. Myself, being one of those people.

Signature necklace. Now since basically the early 2000s people have gotten necklaces with there names inscribed in them or written out. This is a little different however because its much more customized because you send a piece of paper with your signature on it to the Etsy show owner and she makes the necklaces the same way you draw them. Aly of Jawbreaking has one and I see it basically everytime she post a picture on it and I'm obsessed. That is one thing on my wishlist.

Lastly, graphic jumpers/sweatshirts. I think these are great pieces for FW. They can be more simple-like the one above-, extremely complex, oversized. You name it. I really am in the market for picking up one of these pretty soon.

Alrighty guys! Thats all for this month.
Thanks for reading!
