Traditional Fall

Hi guys! I told you I was going to do regular fall because I know everyone isn't experiencing that 'Warm Fall' that I wrote about last week so I decided to do an outfit guide for more 'Traditional Fall'.

Army green and B/W. I'm obsessed. An army green jacket doesn't live in my closet and that makes me sad but since this a guide... anything I want can be mine basically. So I love the color combination of the two with a classic skinny jean and the black ankle boots. My next two investments will definitely be an army green jacket and biker boots.

Leggings, yes lord. Can you say 'Fall Staple'? Now a nice black legging goes with absolutely everything especially a red and black checkered flannel which are really on trend right now. Since I would want my flannel to be over sized I would pair it with this black ribbed crop top. These Nike wedges I think add a different flair to the outfit rather than say a black pair of Vans.

These type of outfits I absolutely adore. The knit jumper over top of the collared shirt is preppy but the electric blue skirt adds a different feel to the outfit. The loafers with the little cat faces add a little whimsical feeling

This outfit I love because it leans more toward my tomboy side who just loves a pair of sweatpants and sneakers. The muscle tank with the floral pattern on the lightning bolt adds a touch of girlishness. The grey and black marble joggers are much more laid back with a nice pair of Jordans (insert heart eyes here).

Alright guys! Thats all for this post I hope you enjoyed it.

Warm Fall?

Hi there guys!

I wanted to do a little outfit guide for fall.

Yet you guys are probably looking at the outfits below and think those aren't too fall.

Well this outfit guide is for "Warm Fall". Here where I live in the Carolinas the weather his still extremely warm for the season. Today when I writing this it got up to 86 degrees, yet the nights can still be a little chilly and if the wind blows it can cool down significantly.

I tried to incorporate all kinds of outfit choices by using the romper, jeans, shorts, and a skirt.

I actually wore a romper outfit like this yesterday (Outfit 1) yesterday. It was so nice out but it had a little bit of a breeze to go along with it. So I just paired a nice little romper with a jean jacket and ankle boots. This is really similar. I love the pattern its more of a S/S but the colors plus the jean jacket make it feel more fall.

This next outfit is just a simple (the pun was not intended I promise) tank top with a nice boyfriend jean. I love boyfriend jeans, they're so comfortable, the fit is like a skinny and bootcut had a baby. Plus with the nice loafer to keep your toes in. I think it would be a really great with maybe a leather jacket if it got a little bit colder soon.

Everyone wants to start breaking out hoodies, jumpers, and sweatshirts. Yet if its not chilly, then what? This outfit kind of helps with that by pairing a pastel flower patterned jumper with a nice pair of denim cut-offs.

Lastly we have one of our staple colors for fall, red. Its a red, long sleeved, crop top with a nice skater skirt which is a cute and simple crossover between the two seasons.

Alrighty guys! I hope you liked this outfit guide! I'll have one for regular fall next week! Love you!

September Favorites

Hello hello!

Its that time again!

Well first we have The Maze Runner and I am obsessed this book. I read it in three days. The writing was gripping and I knew I wanted to see it before I went to see the movie starring Dylan O'Brien (heart-eyed emoji). It was really great read and I'm so excited to read the next three books in the series. I borrowed it from a family friend and I was so into it I highlighted some things. I'm not really sure if I should have done that... whoops. Anyways I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Black Ankle Booties. I am alive. Okay so you can tell I really want a pair of these in my wardrobe. They are so cool and sleek and can go with any outfit. Its one of those basic pieces that you just need  in your closet especially for A/W 2014. Most of my favorite bloggers and style inspirations have tons of these (making me feel a bit like a little green-eyed monster) which is mostly where I found the 'need' within myself to purchase a pair of these. So this sister needs to get herself a pair ASAP.

Next we have stack-able bracelets. I know that doesn't seem like much of a big deal but I love a good necklace, earrings, etc. Yet I am not at all a big bracelet person, so I've been trying more lately to try and wear bracelets but I always end up wearing like 5 of them at a time, If I'm going to wear them, I feel the need to have on a ton opposed to a singular one. If its a charm bracelet or something of that nature then I'll wear that alone but for anything thinner or just a regular bracelet I have to stack them.

BANG BANG INTO THE ROOM. This song is my jam, okay? I have loved Jessie since 2011 and this song with Ariana (who is killing the charts on her own) and Nicki (who I also love) is all I really need for a good pick me up if I'm feeling down. Its just one of those 'girl-power' songs out right and I am absolutely obsessed. The power house vocals just give me life.

Now as you guys know from Spotify Sunday, I love Jhene Aiko and her entire album is everything. Yet the first song I heard off the album was Promises feat. Namiko who is her daughter. It is probably one of my all time favorite songs. It's about how just as Nami is growing up, Jhene is so proud of how she growing up and how amazing she is. Also she says that despite everything she promises that everything will be okay. Its an amazing song and I totally recommend listening to it.

Alright guys thats it for this month!

Thanks for reading! I hope you guys enjoyed! :)
